Research Staff

Dr Shady Agwa Senior Research Fellow Shady works across VLSI and Computer Architecture using conventional and emerging technologies to build Unconventional ASIC-driven AI Architectures.	Dr Andrew Bainbridge Nanoelectronics Characterisation Laboratory Manager Andrew is currently responsible for managing the CEF characterisation labs.	Dr Patrick Foster Research Associate Patrick works on developing instrumentation, currently he works on a system for analysing large arrays of memcapacitors.
Dr Chris Giotis Research Associate in Graph Database Accelerators Chris works on commercialisation activities within CEF. His main focus is the development of Atlas, an accelerator chip for storing and processing Graph Databases.	Dr Jangyong Kim Research Associate Jangyong is developing new nano-fabrication and device characterization of memristive switching effect.	Dr Sanjay Kumar Research Associate in Memory-Impedance Devices Sanjay works on the fabrication and electrical characterization of high-density energy-efficient memristive/memcapacitive devices.
Dr Hannah Levene Thin Film Process Engineer Hannah is working on the process development and material characterisation for metal oxide memristive devices.	Dr Sachin Maheshwari Research Associate Sachin interests include designing neural networks using energy recovery logic and emerging technology RRAM foe energy effiecient AI hardware.	Dr Georgios Papandroulidakis Research Associate Georgios is working on areas of emerging electronics and their applications such as RRAM-based Circuit and Systems, In-Memory Computing etc.
Dr Himadri Singh Raghav Reseach Associate in Mixed Signal Integrated Circuit Design Himadri's research is in Low power VLSI Design and Energy Efficient implementation of secure Integrated Circuits.	Dr Rahul Ramesh Thin Film Process Engineer Rahul works on the atomic layer deposition (ALD) process development for various dielectric thin films.	Dr Cristian Sestito Research Associate in Embedded System Design Cristian is working on the software and hardware layers of systems for AI acceleration.
Dr Mike Smart Software Engineer for AI accelerators Mike works on the implementation and applications of low power adiabatic charge recovery neural networks.	Dr Spyros Stathopoulos Principal Experimental Officer Spyros works on the realisation, fabrication and characterization of devices based on semiconductors and thin films.	Dr Andreas Tsiamis Experimental Officer in Microfabrication Andreas research focuses on metal-oxide memristive device fabrication, characterisation, and integration with CMOS.

Khaled Humood PhD Student Khaled develops Hybrid CMOS-RRAM in memory-computing chip for high-power efficient AI hardware.	Xiongfei Jiang PhD Candidate Xiongfei works on the design of closed-loop neural interface for diagnosing and treating neurological disorders.
